What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is base on the principles of yoga. Yoga is multi-faceted and my specialty is with pure movement within the body, asana (yoga postures) and breath work. The goal of Yoga Therapy can range from improving function in every day life, to helping students recover from an strain or injury, to improving their awareness of body mechanics to achieve advanced poses like headstand or run a marathon. A goal is not necessary as learning how to improve your range in motion will make living life more enjoyable. book now I never really paid attention to my body and the way that I moved it until I did yoga. I went mainly for sciatic issues and after a couple of sessions, I experienced much improvement. Sleeping isn't as painful and I have been able to take up running again. I would definitely recommend Janine to people I know. ----- Claudette T. |
